My Students
My students are always trying their best to learn the English language through visuals and active listening. I am always learning from my students and using what they teach me by observing them to help me better plan my lessons for them. Understanding their struggles, I try my best to make learning fun for them and hope that they enjoy going to school.
As an ENL learner, my students need a lot of support in trying to understand the English Language and being able to understand and try to master the skills they need to learn in each grade.
My students are very hard workers and will try their very best to learn the materials needed.
My Project
When teaching departmentalized classes, having strategies available will be great to help planning for everyday lessons.
Teaching is a form of art and with different students, you need to have a lot of strategies under your belt in order to help the best support all the students.
Often times, I get tripped up on how to differentiate the skills to best fit all of my students. The two strategy books by Jennifer Serravallo will help me with my planning in reading and writing skills.
