Storyworks for Readers

Help me give my students Storyworks from Scholastic to inspire a love for reading!

My Project

My students need Storyworks magazines to increase their reading comprehension by having access to paired texts and a combination of fiction and nonfiction texts on a variety of engaging topics.

Storyworks offers rigorous activities and texts on multiple levels which I can use to differentiate to reach the needs of all of my students.

Not only will students receive these magazines each month, but they will also be able to read from home as well, as this subscription is not only for a print version but also for access to Storyworks online. Having access to the online component offers engaging- informational videos, audio read-aloud, and so much more. This project will increase their media literacy knowledge and will create a love for media literacy.
