This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how curious and eager my PreK students are to learn every day. They are full of excitement and wonder, especially when we dive into stories. The books I am requesting will make a big difference in their learning by expanding their vocabulary, improving comprehension, and sparking their imaginations. These new books will reflect diverse cultures and experiences, helping my students connect with the material and see themselves in the stories.

My goal is to create a classroom library that supports early literacy, fosters a love for reading, and gives my students the tools to succeed academically.

What makes my students special is their resilience and creativity—many come from diverse backgrounds, and providing them with a variety of books will help them grow both academically and socially.

By supporting this project, you all help my students develop their literacy skills and encourage a lifelong love of learning!
