Storytime for All: Toniebox Adventures in Our SPED Classroom

Help me give my students a Toniebox and character figures to support language development, sensory regulation, and joyful, independent learning in our SPED classroom.

My Project

I love how curious, creative, and resilient my students are. Each one of them brings a unique spark to our classroom, and they thrive when learning is interactive, multisensory, and accessible. Many of my students have communication or sensory needs, and they benefit from tools that allow them to engage with stories and information in a hands-on and calming way.

The Toniebox will give my students the power to independently explore stories, music, and educational content at their own pace.

The characters make it easy for even non-readers to navigate, building confidence, listening skills, and a love of storytelling. Whether it's used during quiet time to help self-regulate or as part of a literacy center, the Toniebox will be a versatile and powerful addition to our learning space. It will support language development, listening comprehension, and most of all—joy in learning.
