My Students
My students have a great love of learning. They enjoy coming to school each day. Most of my students are from a low economical social status. They don't have much so they cherish the things they do have. Our school has more than 60% of our students receiving a free lunch. This means we have a lower socio-economic status and are a Title I school.
My students have a deep love of learning and want to explore learning in many different ways.
They love coming to school and come excited about what the day will hold for them. These students are excited about life and learning.
My Project
My students will use these books to cover essential skills in reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, math, science, and engineering all in one. They will use these books in weekly units to teach these essential skills in a fun and engaging way.
There are so many skills that can be taught and learned by integrating the many skills into a fun and engaging lesson.
These books will help me prepare fun and engaging lessons that will teach many skills from reading comprehension to engineering the books will give me the base to help my students learn all of these skills.
Second graders are very active and need engaging things to help them learn. Storybook STEM will help me to teach these skills in a way that will hold their interest and teach them to love learning for a lifetime.
