My Project
Integrating technological tools in the classroom helps ensure greater student engagement. When my students interact with technology, they are more interested and engaged. Adding a listening center to my center rotation is a goal of mine and the Lakeshore Best-Buy Listening Center will do just that. Students would be able to use my current read-alouds with CD's that I have not been able to utilize this school year, so far. My previous listening station was not always reliable and students' headphones were falling apart. This center would be used for my Literacy Listening Center where students will engage in Phonics, Phonemic Awareness, and Comprehension activities.
This listening center will provide all my learners with the opportunity to revisit important skills, take ownership of their learning, and build self confidence.
The Lakeshore Best-Buy Listening Center will allow my students to safely store the headphones, thus allowing them to last, allowing future kindergarteners an opportunity to use the same listening center.
With your support, my students will learn to be confident and independent learners. A strong Kindergarten foundation is imperative for their education, with your donations it can be attainable.
