Story-time Corner in the Language Café with the Profe
Help me give my students a fun and interactive place to practice calendar talk, give daily weather broadcast, and do story-telling, all in the Spanish language using this magnetic board whiteboard that can easily be updated every class.
I would love to have your help in creating a fun, exciting, and interactive place for my students to practice their Spanish and/or English language learning skills. They are incredible students and curious to know more, but they need a small safe place to practice in.
This magnetic dry-erase board can easily be updated by my students, and it will be the perfect opportunity for calendar talk, give daily weather broadcasts, and story-telling all while using the Spanish language.
A very special corner of the room would be totally interactive, and it would be a safe space for small groups of students to practice speaking, reading, writing, and listening, whether it be Spanish or English as another language.
When students are able to practice their new language skills without the added anxiety of practicing in front of their peers, they are much more apt to feel at ease in their learning environment. My hope is that they will feel free to practice Spanish or English and enjoy their learning experience.
