Hello, fellow donors! This year, I want to give my students comprehensive and engaging activities to focus on retelling stories through visuals. I was fortunate enough to participate in training that emphasized the importance of comprehension with young readers. Retelling key details of a story is an area my students can sometimes struggle with, and I would love to give my students a great way to increase their comprehension skills with hands-on learning.
I am asking for donations for felt stories for my students to increase their comprehension and make learning fun and enjoyable!
These felt stories will include visuals from classic books like The Three Little Pigs, Brown Bear, and Pete the Cat (which my students LOVE). This project also includes farm animals and fall activities like the apple life cycle for students to explore their creativity and engage in thoughtful dialogue and storytelling.
