This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are inquisitive, easy to work with, passionate, and motivated. They thrive on challenges and are eager to engage in creative projects that enhance their learning experience. This proposal outlines the need for a class set of headphones to support an exciting new project: creating their own podcast episodes.

This podcast project will allow them to express their ideas, collaborate with peers, and develop their technical skills in audio recording and editing.

As part of our curriculum, we have been listening to the podcast "Scattered" from NPR. This has not only helped us improve our listening skills but has also inspired students to explore the art of storytelling through audio. For their final project, each student will write and record their own podcast episode

Investing in a class set of headphones will not only enhance the quality of our podcast project but also empower students to take ownership of their learning. By providing them with the tools they need, we can foster their creativity and help them develop valuable skills for the future. Thank you for considering this proposal to support our students in their journey to become skilled podcasters.
