My Project

In the heart of West Virginia, our gifted middle school students are eager to dive into the fascinating world of weather and climate. As their teacher, I'm excited to provide them with an immersive, hands-on learning experience that will bring meteorology and climatology to life.

Our project, "Storm Chasers: Exploring Weather and Climate Through STEM," aims to equip our classroom with cutting-edge weather and climate STEM kits.

These kits will allow students to conduct experiments, collect data, and analyze weather patterns just like real scientists.

Imagine the excitement as students build their own weather stations, track local climate changes, and even create miniature tornadoes in bottles! These activities not only teach crucial scientific concepts but also develop critical thinking skills and foster a deep appreciation for our environment.

In our rural community, many students have limited access to advanced scientific equipment.
