Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This semester was hard for our choir students. After 2 years of singing through a computer screen and a mask, our students started out singing in a cramped portable. It was basically the school's storage closet for old desks etc. Even then, our students worked hard and we made the best of it. We have finally moved into our permanent classroom, and we want to make it a safe and decluttered space for students to sing. We also want to make sure that their concert supplies and equipment stay in good condition for years to come as these items cost a lot to replace.
