Stories to Soar Through the Year

Help me give my students a positive school year with engaging stories during library read aloud. Books that deal with various feelings as well as safe technology skills are in this bundle!

My Project

What I love most about our students is their passion for visiting the library. During their time in the library students know they will receive an engaging story to capture their attention, guide them through a moral lesson, or learn how to perfect a new skill. The books in this grant will carry students through the journey of a character dealing with emotions that the student him/herself is bound to experience during the school year. Although our collection is diverse, the library is missing stories that deal with the importance of safe technology skills and learning to balance screen time with play time.

This grant includes stories that teach internet/online safety in our ever-expanding digital world.

Stories that explain email etiquette, the importance of keeping one's digital identity protected and the balance of active recreation vs. screentime recreation are in the books asked in this grant.
