Help me give my students copies of Fahrenheit 451 and A Raisin in the Sun. These books will allow students to explore themes of identity and the importance of dreaming big, which is deeply relevant to their lives.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will provide my students with personal copies of Fahrenheit 451 and A Raisin in the Sun, allowing each student to have their own book for reading, discussion, and annotation. They will use these books throughout the school year.
Having individual copies supports deeper engagement, critical thinking, and personal reflection.
Fahrenheit 451 will spark conversations about censorship and the power of knowledge, while A Raisin in the Sun explores themes of race, family, and dreams. These texts will help students build empathy, improve literacy skills, and connect literature to their own lives and experiences.
