it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love reading to my students! In fact, it is one of my most favorite times of our school day. I read multiple books aloud to my students daily. They ask, "what story are we going to read today" and that makes me excited that they are learning to love books and reading. I love having lots of books to choose from to read to my students that keep them wanting more!
Studies show that students who are read to daily have a greater opportunity to become successful learners.
This is the reason that I make reading books to my students a focus and important part of our day. I want them to love reading and hearing good quality literature that exposes them to new ideas and concepts.
