This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students need to tell the stories of their lives. Being able to share their stories helps them put their thoughts, feelings, and imagination into everything they need for writing.
One of the writing topics in third grade is personal narrative where students tell the stories of their lives.
Having stories that are read out loud and shared with each other such as New Shoes, Hiking Day, Memory String, and A Bike Like Sergio's will help students have stories that they can tell from their own lives and enjoy teaching others about those stories.
