This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project aims to implement narrative therapy techniques for elementary students across three schools, fostering emotional resilience and self-expression. Through storytelling, students will learn to articulate their thoughts and feelings, enabling them to better understand their experiences and build a supportive community.

Narrative therapy can empower students by helping them articulate their experiences, fostering emotional resilience, enhancing self-esteem, and promoting a deeper understanding of their feelings and relationships.

These resources including the books, snacks, and fidget toys will help create an environment that supports students at our schools in processing their experiences and learning new skills to help them be successful at school and at home.
