My first year as an English Language Development (ELD) teacher has been an incredible journey—full of growth, learning, and meaningful connections with my students. Transitioning from a traditional classroom to a smaller office space has come with unique challenges, especially when it comes to storing and organizing the materials I need to teach effectively.
My students deserve a welcoming, tidy, and efficient learning space, but the limited storage and workspace make it difficult to keep the wide range of resources, such as books, games, and supplies, accessible and organized.
This can lead to a cluttered environment that doesn’t reflect the structured space my students deserve.
I’m requesting storage items like rolling carts, bins, and organizers that will help transform my space into a more efficient and inviting learning environment. I’m also requesting basic supplies—like envelopes and paper—which I’ve used consistently throughout the year and now need to replenish.
