This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love being able to have a variety of fun and creative projects students can participate in. We have so many cool opportunities from using a Cricut to working with different craft kits like candle making and sewing. But all of these pursuits require a lot of material that needs to be organized and stored.
We could use a few more storage options for the variety of crafting fun we enjoy.
When students are organized, they are more engaged and more able to enjoy the projects they participate in. Having some more shelving and a few crates to assist with organization will be a huge help to us. It makes it easier to see what supplies we have and keep track of inventory. This, in turn, helps teach responsibility to my students and gives them skills to help them as they begin to "adult" after high school.
