This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are energetic and talented high school students. Our high school focuses on career and college readiness, and my students work very hard and are dedicated to their academics. Our school is not the home district for the majority of my students. They choose to be here and because of that, they value the time they spend at this school. These kids are very motivated and have an excellent work ethic.
My students love to explore physics concepts that affect their everyday life.
My Project
With the current COVID pandemic still going on, many students have been forced to learn virtually at home. A lot of these students are using outdated computers that don't have the storage space they need for the programs needed for online learning and to store all their academic work.
External hard drives will provide the students with adequate storage space for their academic work.
These hard drives will be given to the students that are using computers or tablets with low storage capacities. This will help lower the stress that these students already feel with online learning.
