My Students

Do you know what it is like to work on something for day only to have it ruined. We do.

My class is a tenth-grade Biology class in Southwest Arkansas.

Our school has a high free- and reduced-lunch school status. We are striving to be the best little school in Arkansas, and we need your help. These students are very deserving and excited about labs and other hands-on activities.

My Project

I would like these lower income students to be able to have the same opportunity as any other student in the state. My goal is to prepare my students to be successful in college. Because we are a free and reduced lunch school, Title I provides the money for the supplies we need for our Biology Lab Projects. The problem is we have nowhere to store supplies until we are ready for that particular lab. We want our supplies to be in a safe place so they do not get ruined. My students need a place to store all of their biology materials used to create their lab projects. If we had a storage cabinet that locked, we would be able to store the supplies and projects in a clean, dry, safe place. We need to store projects in a clean, dry place to allow us to come back and work on them again.

Your help will ensure my tenth-graders the opportunity to practice lab skills that will not only help them in their college careers, but also to make good life decisions.
