My Students
I teach students who are passionate about music and value the opportunity to experience being a part of something bigger than themselves. My students take pride in our performing ensembles and are consistently a positive representation of our program, school and community. Music enables my students to make connections to and enhance learning in other curricular areas, understand and value the importance of a good work ethic, and it provides them an outlet to express themselves in a meaningful, positive way.
My Project
Help us organize our percussion instruments! Now that we are settled in our new school, we have several needs to help us keep our room organized and have a safe place to store our small and medium percussion instruments. We are very fortunate to have a percussion room, but we do not have any shelves or cabinets. These shelves will allow us to keep the instruments organized and safe and will help us be more efficient. We currently use cardboard boxes for percussion storage, and as you can imagine, this is not the best solution. Thank you for your help!
