To help with independence skills this year we will be doing individual task boxes, folders and activities! For children with Autism, working on a multitude of skills used in everyday life is important and crucial at this age so students don't become prompt dependent. I would love to provide every student with their own individual boxes to use when it's time for Independence skills. My students are on multiple levels being ages 3-5. Independence is a KEY skill for them to learn!
Coloring coding boxes for students with Autism give them a sense of Independence and keeps their materials organized!
Giving my students this crucial skill helps them in other areas of the classroom. With the other storage boxes, I will be able to separate their Curriculum and organize the materials needed for each theme. With the thin boxes, students can house their materials needed to make them successful! What a great plus to this project for my students!
