Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are kinder through fifth graders who are all on IEPs for learning disabilities. They come to my classroom for instruction on foundational skills to help them get closer academically to their grade-level peers. My room is a safe and risk-free environment where students can work on their needs without the judgement of others. They learn to take risks in my room. FAILing is just the first attempt at learning! We celebrate small growth because each step of the way is success.
Storage cabinets will give us a space to declutter our area so our minds can focus on our learning.
We are in need of storage cabinets to safely put away district owned materials and resources. We have moved into a space without any storage and these cabinets will help us get the materials out of boxes and stored in a more convenient location.
