I teach high school art in a low-income district. I struggle with a tiny budget, and most of my students do not have the financial means to buy their own supplies.
My classroom supplies are currently kept in cabinets, and this causes "traffic jams" when it is time for students to get colored pencils, markers, glue, scissors, etc. I want to provide each desk/work station with its own box of supplies so that students can spend more time working at their desk and less time walking around the room getting supplies.
I need 35 plastic storage containers to hold scissors, rulers, pencils, and other essential supplies so that each student can have their own supply box at his or her desk. This will dramatically increase the time each student can spend with his or her artwork and decrease the time spent standing in line waiting to get glue, scissors, or other supplies.
