Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My center based Autism classroom is full of smiling faces on our kindergarteners and first graders. Part of what keeps them happy and engaged in learning is novelty. While understanding that students need repetition and practice, I introduce new ways of doing this through monthly themed activities.
These storage bins will last multiple years creating an organized classroom environment, allowing us to switch out the bin each month to increase and maintain engagement for our learners with Autism.
In each monthly bin, we'd have our file folders for math and reading, holiday and monthly themed writing activities, sample craft templates, master copies for math and literacy stations, and more!
