My Project
My 7th grade students have been given an extra hour each week in art class for the remainder of the year affording me the chance to do more complex projects with them! I am excited for the possibility of working with a new art form but I need your help with providing the much needed supplies!
With the new modeling clay, I would like to introduce stop motion animation to the students so they can learn the joys and complexities of the artistic process.
Skills students will work on include teamwork, set design, project ideation, color mixing, clay modeling, and video editing. As you can see, this project will provide numerous learning opportunities for my students!
