My Students
My students are all unique learners with the same end goal, to succeed. I want my students, despite their special accommodations, to reach their fullest potential and I believe these materials will help them do so. I am a special education teacher in a kindergarten ICT classroom in a NY public school. Over the past few months I have noticed that the students struggling with fine and gross motor skills, ADHD, dyslexia, sensory, and emotional anxiety would greatly benefit from additional resources in the classroom. They need to have notebooks so that parents will not have to worry about printing, shopping, or buying ink! Having the students prepared in September with notebooks will allow for a HUGE stress relief for the parents. This will reduce the number of supplies we ask the parents for.
I believe in my students and I want more than anything for them to be provided with what they need to succeed.

My Project
The road ahead is very uncertain, but what is known is that we as educators need to be prepared to teach and provide the best education we possibly can to our students.
By supporting my project you are helping my students who struggle greatly with attention, have a chance to stay focused when testing thanks to the privacy partitions, and their storage racks to keep it neat.
I always see my students looking around, worried who is finished before them. By providing them with partitions, that will be eliminated and the students will be able to focus on their own work instead of others! Aside from the partitions, the markers will come in handy both in and outside of school as it is so important to create visual charts for the students. In addition, the jumbo primary magnetic paper will be a great support for modeling both learning online and in person.
