My students need books on bullying and character building topics, as well as partitions and stamper ink pads to use as incentives.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Y. Garza's classroom raised $521
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember how it felt being bullied as a young child? Well, you can make all the difference to a group of 6 and 7 year old students who might be facing these obstacles.
I teach an amazing group of first grade students that attend a Title I school district.
Most of them qualify for the free or reduced lunch food program. This, however, does not hinder their eagerness or ability to learn all that is provided for them. They are like sponges ready to absorb anything that is provided for them.
My Project
The selected books will provide a wealth of opportunities on character building topics. The students will learn better methods of handling difficult situation that young children might encounter with their peers.
The partitions will be used during testing and so children can have privacy when working on projects or assignments. I will utilize the stamp ink pads as to encourage appropriate behavior(s).
By donation to this project, you will help many young children become successful at handling difficult bullying situations.
And, you will better prepare them on becoming successfully future citizens with outstanding characters.
