This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Flexible seating is one of my favorite things about my classroom because I really feel that it lets my students find a place where they can do their best work. Currently in my classroom we have some three legged wooden stools. They have worked their magic for the past seven years, but they are currently on their last legs.
These four legged stools will give my students a sturdier and safer option to use at one of my tables.
The three legged stools are hard for them to balance on if they lean too far to the side & so with four legs to support, they can't tip as easily! My students are so kind and hard working this year and I want them to have sturdy seats they can feel successful in!
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
