Stools for Sitting

Help me give my students new stools to sit on. Our current chairs are all mismatched, broken, and cracked.

My Project

These stools will help the climate of my classroom by allowing all students to feel supported intellectually and academically.

The classroom environment impacts how students feel about their place in society and fosters a sense of belonging and acceptance in their community.

Appropriate furniture also improves student comfort, behavior, concentration, engagement and health.

These stools will be used in our small groups for literacy and math intervention groups. Students with disabilities deserve to have high quality furniture and seating as much as other peers. Students are currently using broken and cracked chairs that are not the appropriate size for them.
