My Students

My students are hardworking and extremely creative. These students have a variety of challenges including Autism Spectrum Disorder, unique learning disabilities and behavioral struggles. The special needs of my students means that I need to come up with creative and fluid lessons to keep my students engaged. Over 90% of my students are on individualized education plans. This means that I need to be adaptive in my thinking and for each student in the classroom.

My Project

Help me give my students safe and flexible seating options such as Lakeshore's Flex-Space Balance Ball Seats and stools to help them increase productive while learning.

Flexible seating allows my students ownership over their own learning style and body movements.

In addition, flexible seating allows my students stay in their seats and focus on their assignments. Options for seating gives my students a voice in their classroom. These stools and ball chairs will give the opportunity to open up the classroom for more seating options. Thank you for supporting my students as they learn.
