This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom, I serve bilingual students who require extra academic support to learn English. I also serve students who struggle with remaining attentive and focused for extended periods of time and require frequent breaks.
Ensuring that my students are comfortable is an essential component of motivating them to learn.
Alternative seating options allow students to be active in their learning and suit their learning needs. My classroom will be alive with space for my students to choose a work area that best works for them when completing independent work or working in groups, as well as a smaller intimate space to work with a teacher. The Color Stacking Stools will be a great addition to the classroom for a fun, vibrant, inviting place to sit and learn.
