Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am entering a new grade where I will be teaching first after 2 decades in Kindergarten.
I am asking for a set of coloring stacking stools and a brand-new rug for the classroom.
The stools will be used in the back of the room when we are doing Small Group Instruction on the moon-shaped table. I want the students to know that they will be sitting in the special seats to learn with the teacher. Since they are colored, each student can have their color and place where they will sit.
I am also requesting a brand new rug to replace the old one, which is filthy and tattered. The chair bands will be used for the students who need to use them to move around.
