My Project
These dinosaur toys and materials will help the students in my speech and language groups to develop a variety of communication skills, including requesting items, labeling new nouns and verbs, and understanding descriptive words. During our dinosaur unit, we will read "What the Dinosaurs Did At School" while using the felt board to display visuals to go along with the story.
My preschool students learn best when activities are play-based and hands-on.
They will use the dinosaur toys and magnets during free play and language centers while learning new vocabulary and using their language skills to engage with peers. They will use the dot markers to create dinosaur art.
