My Students
My students are amazing! Our school is located in a rural part of central California in the foothills of the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains. We love our community and the natural resources we have in our area.
Many of my students come from middle- to low-income families.
My students come to school every day excited to learn something new and ready to take on new challenges. While our students have many obstacles in their lives, they persevere and succeed.
My Project
My students come to "work" each day and get paid using my token economy system. Burr Bucks are given to students who show up to "work" on time every day, do their work, to the best of their ability, and then they get to spend their hard-earned cash on items in our classroom store. T
Our store needs to be replenished.
My students love to purchase uniques snacks, such as individually wrapped chips, popcorn, and fruit leather, as well as fun fidget toys, in our classroom store. I love to reward students for a job well done. And they love to shop in our classroom store.
