Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we prepare for the second half of the school year, I want to ensure my first graders have all the supplies they need to continue learning, creating, and staying organized in a welcoming and clean classroom environment.

With your support, we can restock on essential items that support our daily routines and big projects.

We are requesting new, durable folders for parent-teacher communication, as our current ones have not held up well. Cardstock paper in various colors will be used for art projects and as sturdy covers for students' writing journals. We also need high-quality pencils and clear glue for daily work and larger classroom projects. To keep our space clean, we’re requesting paper towels, demineralized water for our floor steamer, Murphy Oil Soap and Goo Gone to keep desks and surfaces spotless. Each of these items is essential for keeping our classroom environment organized, creative, and comfortable.
