This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 7th grade students attend a Title I school where many families face financial hardships, but our classroom is filled with bright, determined young minds who are eager to learn and succeed. Each day, my students work hard to overcome challenges and stay focused on their education. However, limited access to basic supplies can make this journey more difficult than it needs to be.

We are in need of essential classroom materials to help support a positive and productive learning environment.

Pencils and lined paper are everyday necessities for note-taking, writing, and classwork. Test dividers help students stay focused during assessments by minimizing distractions and promoting academic integrity. Storage bins are also essential for keeping materials organized and easily accessible so our classroom can run smoothly. Lastly, reward stickers provide a simple but powerful way to recognize student effort, build confidence, and encourage a love of learning.

With these resources and your support, I hope to create a classroom where students feel prepared, respected, and motivated every single day.
