Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school store has been a great motivation for our students. Our students learn financial responsibility by earning, spending and saving their tickets throughout the year. However, running a store is time consuming and uses a lot of teachers that are vital during the day, so we would like to build student leaders on our campus.
We would like to start an online store where students can spend their tickets and have their orders delivered to them by older student leaders on campus.
This project will be using the assistance of our older students to help organize, package and deliver orders. These students will also be responsible for keeping inventory and communicating with the lead teachers. This will teach our older students business skills as well as continue to build on their dedication to service.
