My Project
Good hygiene can help a student focus on completing their school work. Poor hygiene may affect a child's physical and mental health. A student may get sick more often causing them to miss school and fall behind in class. If a student has poor hygiene, he/she can become self-conscious or may be bullied.
My students are amazing people who due to no fault of their own do not always have their basic needs met.
With this project, these items will be available to them and their families when needed.
The project will help restock my hygiene area. This area is where students can take what they need and don't have to ask for it or be asked any questions about it. Having this area is important because not every student feels comfortable asking for items they may need especially hygiene items.
I know that with these items, together we can make our students and their families lives a little more comfortable. My room is open to the entire school and their families. The items in my room and from this project will help make sure education is a top priority by not letting the student or their family worry about where they will be getting their basic needs from.
