My Project

Our school is full of curious, motivated readers who are hungry for books that reflect their interests, experiences, and dreams. This project will bring a fresh wave of books into our school and classroom libraries—books that teachers and students themselves have requested. These include graphic novels, biographies, fantasy series, culturally diverse stories, and high-interest non-fiction across a range of reading levels. Having access to books they’re excited about helps students develop stronger reading habits, expand their vocabulary, and deepen their love of learning.

These books will help students see themselves—and others—on the page.

Books are expensive, so classroom and school libraries are a great opportunity to test out new genres, authors, and topics without the pressure of buying every book that might spark a student’s interest. With your support, they’ll have the tools to grow not just as readers, but as thinkers and leaders too.
