This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students earn classroom cash as incentives and for rewards.

They earn classroom cash by working in our schools' coffee shop.

They can also earn money by completing assignments, participating in activities and exhibiting positive behaviors.

The cash the students earn is used every Friday when the store opens. The Gatorade and the chips each go for five classroom cash dollars.

The students calculate their time at the school's coffee shop using a daily time card. They also receive classroom cash for their assignments using a checklist with assigned amounts to calculate.
