My Project

As the School Social Worker, my primary role is to eliminate barriers to education. We are a Title I School with over half of our student body receiving free or reduced lunch. Frequently, we have students who lack basic needs such as clothing and hygiene items. For the past four years, our Clothing Closet has served many students and their families who are in need of extra assistance.

In this Donors Choose project, we are specifically requesting help with hygiene items and undergarments—two items that are often overlooked in Clothing Closet donations.

Every donation will assist our students and families who lack basic needs, including clothing and hygiene items. We are proud to serve our students not only academically, but in their home lives as well. We care about our students’ overall well-being and do our best to provide for their social-emotional and basic needs. Thank you for your consideration and support of our Donors Choose project.
