This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." Benjamin Franklin. I want to teach my students how to be involved and successful in the world that we live in through our Career classes.

Our kids come from low to middle income housing.

They have the biggest hearts, but sometimes they don't show it. I think that my students have amazing possibilities in life. If they just try and accomplish the tasks at hand, they can do it! They are ready to learn and show what they have learned through our career classes.

My Project

WOW! Look out world because my students are going to be financially aware of their surroundings. What a better way to learn about the financial world but through flip charts, financial books, shareholder kits, design kits, and financial board games. With the help from you my students will be financially aware of what credit and debit means. These games will help my students understand what relationship money has in the real world. I want my students to have a better understanding of how to manage money and the usage of credit and debit cards. My students will be learning a great deal of responsibility through these games. They will also be creating advertisement posters to help sale an item they have created. How could you say no to kids that what to learn more about money and the responsibility of how to deal in the daily life? All of this is going to be awesome!
