Help me give my students visual materials such as magnetic fractions and reading skills magnetic library to make whole group and small group instruction more engaging.
A visually stimulating classroom environment has many benefits in terms of engaging students in the learning process and enhancing their educational experience.
My students are more engaged with WHAT they are learning, when they are ACTIVE in the learning.
Engaging my students with large and small-sized manipulatives will provide hands-on learning activities and movement. Including visuals throughout the classroom, along with multi-modal means of learning now concepts, will help positively help that educational experience that students need to develop well rounded humans.
These materials will be used during whole group and small group lessons, where students will be "doing" as I model. Students will also have many opportunities to demonstrate their learning to peers/teachers. This level of engagement will allow students to own their learning, ask/answer higher learning questions and allow opportunities for discourse.
