Help me give my students Canon 280XXL and CLI-281XL color ink cartridges so our printer can make magic by displaying my students' wonderful work and I can make their learning visually appealing.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My fifth-grade students are working diligently to increase their twenty-first-century skills and self-esteem. They are highly motivated students in need of higher level thinking opportunities. I am interested in supporting my students to achieve their dreams by helping them access their inner potential.
My students are deserving of the best the world can offer because they are our future!
They are a fun-loving, creative and dedicated group of learners coming from primarily Latino families located in suburban California. Our school has about one thousand students in a PreK-5 environment where free or reduced-price lunch is the standard. We are co-located with a Magnet school on our campus.
My Project
We all know that writing is probably the most dreaded subject in elementary school. Too many times my students see little motivation to produce quality writing. I want this to change. The printer I use in my classroom is always in need of ink. Getting the Canon 281XL and 280XXL color ink cartridges will allow me to display my students' work in mind-popping color. Hopefully, this will be a motivator to do their best. I also want to continue producing colorful instructional materials to keep my students' attention. I want them to feel excited about being in my class and coming to school each day.

Having a colorful classroom can make the difference to some of my students that struggle with staying awake and interested in school. I want to lessen the burden of outside-of-school stresses my students come with by providing them a colorful way to display their creations. Help me provide my students with a vibrant and welcoming environment where they feel safe and celebrated.
