My Project
My students LOVE stickers and they love math! In first grade they are still learning number fluency and how to count up to 120. I am asking for some informational posters and charts for our room as well as some creative ways to learn math!
This project combines the love of stickers, the need to practice fine motor skills and the desire to promote math fluency!
My students will have a ton of fun while completing their sticker by number pictures and it is a good way for me to assess if they are struggling with number recognition, shape rotations, or base fine motor coordination. I have selected books that progress to be more challenging for advanced students, including higher numbers and even some with math problems that need to be solved. Instead of learning through basic worksheets, these stickers are fun, engaging, colors and education all in one!
