Sticking With Science

My students need interactive science materials. Colors and magnets are fun, exciting units for kindergarten students to explore and discover through play.

My Students

Reading and math seem to be the main focus in kindergarten. Science gets done if we have time.

My students are active 5-6 year olds.

They come from all types of backgrounds and socio-economic areas. Most kindergarteners love to touch and feel what they are learning. Science is such a fun interactive subject that doesn't take lots of extra time but one that really grabs their attention.

My Project

Having new magnets, prisms, and science observation tools will give my students more opportunities to explore. We need sturdy materials that can handle the activity of 24 kindergartener students! Lakeshore has amazing products that stand the test of time.

I want to expose my students to as many opportunities as possible in the short time they are in my class.

Science is such a fun subject that unfortunately gets overlooked or forgotten because so much focus now days is on reading and math. These supplies will give us that experience for years to come.
