Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in grades nine through twelve; plus, additional years of vocational transition (ages 15-21).

We are a small, public school tucked away in the beautiful mountains.

We are avid outdoor adventurers, and our lessons are geared towards Community-Based Vocational Instruction (CBVI). CBVI means working together with community businesses, to provide special needs students hands-on opportunities.

My students are also housed in what is considered to be the most restricted, due to their specific academic/behavioral/emotional needs.

I am asking for Velcro to personalize instruction. The tri-fold magnetic board with magnetic activities will be used to enforce "cause and effect" activities. The batteries will be used as needed to operate numerous sensory items.
