Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are inquisitive learners. They enjoy learning through play. It is important to have the students feel engaged in their learning. Its awesome to see how much they enjoy coming to school and exploring new materials and toys. The TPT gift cards will allow us to select a variety of classroom resources that they students can make throughout the year. We will be able to purchase templates for season arts and crafts.
The best learning occurs when the students are allowed to express their creativity through art and fun hands on activities.
The variety of foam stickers will be used to motivate the students to attend school. They will add the star stickers to their attendance monthly challenge cards. They will use the other stickers to create sticker collages in the art center. We will also use the foam stickers to decorate letters that begin with that sticker. Stickers are not just fun for children but also help them develop their fine motor skills. They have to really concentrate to peel off the backing and then pick up all the little trash they leave behind.
