Stickers for Learning

My Project

My classroom is a mix of diverse learners including special education students, English language learners, gifted and talented students, and many other students who do not fit into one of those groups. A portable sticker maker will help me better differentiate for all my students; it will be a game changer, especially for my English language learners.

It is my goal to print various stickers to provide real-time individualized concrete support learning in class.

For example, if we are learning about different types of communities in social studies, I can quickly print pictures to create visuals of urban, suburban, and rural communities. Then my English language learners can stick the pictures on their notes making the vocabulary more accessible.

While I have many students who will benefit from these stickers, I have one student in particular in mind. She is new to America and working hard to learn English even though English is new to her. She has a thirst for knowledge, and this project will prove especially beneficial for her. I am always looking for creative ways to support my students, and when I saw this portable mini sticker printer, I got so excited with the prospect of creating custom stickers to support the learning in my classroom.
